Cake Sample Boxes – priced at £25.00 per box – Each box contains a choice of 6 mouthwatering sponge flavours (there is a full list of flavours to choose from in our cake flavour section)

Got your own ideas – that’s great too! – view our gallery for inspiration or email me your pictures (my contact details are on my Contact Us page) and we will be happy to discuss and design your very own bespoke cake.

Orders
Question – How far in advance should we order our wedding cake?
Answer – We recommend booking your wedding cake about a year in advance, especially if your wedding date is during our busy period (April till September) or over a bank holiday.
For Birthday, Celebration and Special Occasion Cakes, we recommend one weeks notice.
On shorter notice – please check availability with us – we will do our best to accommodate you!
Booking and Deposits
Question – How do we arrange to book?
Answer – Telephone or email us with your date to check availability. If we are available, i will contact you normally by telephone (on a day and time thats best suits you) so we can have a chat about your cake ideas, i can answer any questions and we can fill in your order form.
A £50.00 deposit is required to secure your slot/date for a Wedding Cake – this is a non refundable or transferable deposit.
If you would like to book us to make your Celebration or Special Occasion Cake a £30.00 deposit is required to secure your slot/date – this is a non refundable or transferable deposit.
(Please note: all deposits are lost on cancellations and cannot be transferred to another cake) and all cancellations must be in WRITING only.
Balances
The full balance including any security bonds (stated below) are required one month before your date.

Security Bonds – Deposits for loaned Items
If you would like to borrow a complimentary cake stand, pillars or accessories with your cake order – i don’t mind loaning you these free of charge but I do require a deposit to cover these items while they are away from our premises.
This is to be paid one month before your date
(The Price of the deposit will depend on the item/s you want to borrow! – please ask for details)
This deposit will then be returned to you on return of the loaned items as long as they are in perfect and working condition as when they went out
Delivery
Free local delivery service (otherwise a small charge – please ask for details).
Wedding Cakes are usually delivered on the morning of your Wedding (time to be arranged), or a time for collection can be arranged.
Celebration and Special Occasion Cakes can be collected at a time convenient to both A Truly Scrumptious Cake and the client.
Birthday and Special Occasion Cakes
All of our Birthday, Celebration and Special Occasion cakes come in 3 sizes:-
Traditional Size – 2 layers of sponge cake with buttercream and filling.
Tall Cakes are approx. 5″ tall – 4 layers of sponge cake with layers of buttercream and filling in between.
Taller Cakes – As above with more layers – please contact us for details.

Each Cake Sample Box contains 6 individual sponge cake flavours – (from our menu page).
